Anne worked for years as a receptionist while caring for her parents. When they passed away, her depression made it hard for her to seek support. Anne lost her home.
Since Anne moved into our Prospect Place women’s shelter, she has become an active member of the community and takes steps every day to improve her well-being.
“I am a member of wellness groups that help you manage and get better. CUCS is very supportive. They listen to you.”
Anne is getting ready to move into a newly-built apartment in Bedford-Stuyvesant. She is excited to decorate her home and cook in her beautiful new kitchen.
When you support CUCS, you help build a community of care and encouragement to thrive. You help build brighter futures.
